Description: This is the North American consumerist holiday wherein children and teens and adults alike go door-to-door dressed in pumpkin and M&M costumes on the eve of New Year's day in the Gregorian calendar, asking for candies and treats like a beggar in the snow with the phrase "trick or treat!!".
Origins: Hallowe'en is a North American parody of the pagan holiday of Hallow's Evening, the day before Samhain, the pagan New Year. Similarly, Christwe'en is a parody of the North American event of Hallowe'en, the day of gluttony and greed and trickery.
This is in no way a "Satanist" holiday, or in any way affiliated with Satan and/or worshippers of Satan. Celebrators of this holiday do not believe in a traditional God and/or or Devil complex.
